Lazy Days of Summer
Finally, some warm, sunny weather in Vancouver. But, with our 60% off Birthday Sale extended to the end of August our customers are still making their way into the store. It seems that retail therapy beats out sunny weather.

Holiday Weekend Update
We had three containers come in this week. We now have a great selection of antique Chinese furniture and lots of Industrial furniture. The only problem we have with the industrial furniture is that it is impossible to keep in stock. It sure is nice to be popular.

Antique Market is currently introducing their newest product line; industrial furniture. This stuff is red hot, which really comes as no surprise given that we have been seeing it as a backdrop in the fashion industry for the last few years.
The market for antiques is ever changing and challenging especially in a city like Vancouver that has such a modern vibe to it. When you add in the high cost of housing in Vancouver, there is often no budget left for furnishings. It is hard to get a break and find quality at a reasonable price. But, then you stumble on a company like Antique Market and you walk through the doors of their warehouse and you know you are in for some fine retail therapy.
They may still be called the Antique Market but they have kept up with the changes in taste and demonstrate by their range of products that they have a young modern sensibility. They have a warehouse that simply overwhelms. It boggles the mind how much great stuff is behind those purple doors.
